Understanding Point Padding

Point padding will be given to teams that play well and thus skip matches because they qualify quickly. The RMRS will only see Average Point padding being distributed, meaning players will receive points based on their performance throughout the tournament. Note that your player must have played at least 1 match in your lineup to be rewarded with point padding.

RMR A:

Point padding round 1 - given to teams that win all their matches, going 3-0. Will be provided during the game period of 8th April.

Point padding round 2 - given to the top 5 teams. Will be provided during the game period of 9th April.

RMR B:

Point padding round 1 - given to teams that win all their matches, going 3-0. It will be provided during the game period of 13th April.

Point padding round 2 - given to the top 5 teams. It will be provided during the game period of 14th April.

*Tiebreakers and decider matches will not be counted in our fantasy tournament. They might appear but will be removed after a while.

Point System

Tournament timezone: UTC+1

1 Kill = +0.4 points

1 Assist = +0.2 points

1 Death = -0.15 points

KD-rating = 0-4 points

  • KD-rating: 0.8-1.0 = 1 point
  • KD-rating: 1.01-1.2 = 2 points
  • KD-rating: 1.21-1.5 = 3 points
  • KD-rating: 1.51+ = 4 points

Winning a match series = 2 points

Losing a match series = 0 points

The point system in practice:

Every player in your "active roster" will receive points per series rather than per map. See a BO3 example below.

Map 1 = 11 points, map 2 = 12 points & map 3 = 9 points. In this case, that player would receive 32/3 = 10.7 points. Of course + the average KD rating in that series and the extra 2 points if that player's team won.

Fantasy Phases

Building phase

Welcome to the build phase, where you create your entire roster for the upcoming stage. If the tournament is short, there might only be 1 build phase which is the one at the start. If the tournament is longer with different stages, you might have the option to enter the build phase before the next stage. For example, you start by creating a team for the group stage. Then there is a pause before the playoffs. During this time, you will enter a new build phase where you can create a team for the playoffs. Read the info blog for the tournament to see if there are multiple build phases.

Edit phase

In the editing phase, you can change your Captain and use your sell tokens. This phase takes place when no matches are playing during the day. It starts at 03:00 (Tournament timezone) and ends 1 hour before the day's first match.

Game Phase

During this phase, your lineup is locked, and you can't make any more changes. So sit back and cheer on your players. Hopefully, they will do well!

Captain Feature

The captain feature gives a 50% point bonus to the player you have assigned as your Captain. If you want, you can set a Captain before the league starts, and the captain booster will stay on that player until you actively change it to another player. You have one Captain swap every day, but you will lose your Captain swap for the day if your Captain has started a match series. You can only swap Captain during the Edit phase!

Captain = 1.5x bonus points

Selling a player

The SELL token enables participants to sell a player in their lineup and buy a new one. This action can only be performed during EDIT phases and will consume your SELL token. When selling a player, you will be refunded the same amount of money as previously paid when you purchased the player. You will keep the points of your sold players for the remainder of the tournament, and they will be displayed in the section "Sold players". We encourage you to be strategic with your SELL tokens since you only have 1 for every stage of the tournament. Your sell token will "refresh" at every building stage. The sell token now respects the max 2 per team limitation.

Player-transactions = 1

End Notes

The Organizer reserves the right to change the above Point System and described features at its sole discretion. We will inform users of significant changes by publicly announcing them on the website or our Discord server.
